God he's fast...

I was cycling home along the Meadows this evening when a group of peds decided to cross the road ahead of me. I swung out right to avoid then, as I passed by I heard one of them say "God he's fast!", I was doing a wee bit over 25 mph, the funny thing was I was still in the middle ring and not even trying that hard...

Maybe next time they will think twice before walking out in front of a cyclist

I had a great tailwind yesterday,and on gentle decline too for about a mile,speed was constantly over 33 mph I was getting passengers turning their heads in cars as they passed, I could tell they where thinking how fast is that lol and yes it was a 30mph limit and I was still being overtaken! going back into the wind and up the slight incline was a bit ......ok a lot slower, like towing an anchor

I'm a little fat and I can do near 30 on a flat. Having a great bike helps though.
