I've got the road shoes - but still riding with toe clips, which are a complete nuisance to get into with my road shoes.

Can someone recommend a decent pair (and also cheap <£40) of clipless pedals, and is it a case of buying any cleats to go with them? My shoes take both two point and three point cleats.

These are a reasonable entry level spd-sl pedal (3 screw triangle)

they come with cleats - you want yellow ones with "float"

These pedals are great for riding but naff for walking in.

the two screw cleats(spd) system is better to walk in but less efficient when pedalling.
