Probably nearly as bad as RLJ, how many here have done it to skip round queues. It is becoming fairly normal in London for both cycles and motorbikes.

I try not to, and tend to wait until I can go on the left, but maybe twice a year I fail.

hmmm.... *scratches head in an attempt to remember*... aren't there some circumstances where it is actually legal to go to the right?? Or is that of just some street furniture that doesn't have a 'Keep Left' sign or arrow... now just where is my highway code?

Sorry, I do it at one point in my commute, most mornings.

Within 500 yards of home, standing traffic my side, nothing coming the other way. To filter between it and the cars is dodgy, although 50% of the time this is possible.

I don't do it anywhere else as it's usually busy.

Plenty of cars have misjudged my speed, overtaking just as I approach an island, they've went to cut back in on me and realised there's not room and went round the right side of a ''keep left' bollard. Whether its legal or not I'm glad they chose this option rather than crushing me.

More like when overtaking a queue of traffic and nothing is coming the opposite way

oh right, well thats fine. motorbikes do it. I dont think its bad, not like going through red lights. As long as your aware that the cars your overtaking may suddenly just decide to do a u-turn.

editing bit

i guess ie depends on the road. I'm thinking of a long que of traffic which is stopped at red lights, then i will duck and weave etc to get to where its safe (if traffic starts moving), or and to the front Would need a pic of a situation to make my decision
