What a pants of a day.Finished our holiday today.
During the week 50 of our party went down with a sickness bug.Including my two daughter's.
48 hours bed rest.We left Battle early 5-50 am to get through the Dartford Tunnel early.So we thought.30 mins after leaving at a place named Flimwell the engine started to play up.
RAC called out from phone call to resuming journey 3 hours 40 mins.and £104-50p poorer.
Could it get any worse yes it could.The wife started with the bug.Threw up twice and had to sleep it off.
Good old Postman to the rescue,don't really like driving but boy did i enjoy the miles i did.Was lucky really the traffic was light but i got the family home in one piece.
Now going to down a couple of Kronenbourg 1664.
It was 4-00pm when we arrived home.What a day.
