After many posts where i have slated C02 pumps i have bit the bullet and ordered a weldite pump, less than a tenner on ebay and it looks solid enough.Figured that i could stop carrying inthe road morph and swap to a smaller pump in combination with the wedlite to save a bit of space.
can anyone recommend a cheap place for cannisters ?
Looks solid enough with a spring loaded valve that looks eay enough to work ....

cyberknight would love to know how you get on as looking into this as well - how high pressure do you run you tyres at? ie how many inflations to co2 cannisters?

Usually 1 16g C02 cannister get's to 120psi.
And as above. TyreInflators are your best bet for cannisters.
10 cartridges for £5.99

A single 12g CO2 cartridge will inflate a 700c 23mm or 25mm tyre to >100psi (after you've stuck a bit of air in it with a pump to check for tube pinching before inflating with the CO2). I guess you'd need a 16g cartridge for 28mm tyres or bigger.

Decathlon sell a pack of 5 or 6 12g threaded cartridges at a good price if you don't feel the need to buy 50 or more from the likes of tyreinflators.co.uk.

+1
although I used their other shop window @ http://www.co2cartridges.co.uk/
I saw that, can`t see why they need 2 windows ?
I have not used the pump yet , looks solid enough and portable so i haveput it in the emergency kit bag along with a mini pump, saves carrying the road morph which although is a fantastic pump is a bit big.

I also bought 5 x16 g cartridges , i reckon i have enough for a year now , I am not sure if the pump will take 12 g cartridges although i cant see why not as long as they are threaded .

Word of warning, a friend reckons it was so cold yesterday they couldn't disconnect their Co2 canister after repairing a puncture and had to cycle home with it still attached and clanking between their spokes!

I've just bought a couple of Rose Co2 adapters, and as they are at an angle I'm hoping they don't get stuck!
