Going to sound stupid but how do I tell? Says BWR on the hub

BWR stands for Brompton Wide Ratio and refers to the hub bears which don't change.

I'm fairly sure the rear sprocket will be a standard size, so it's the front ring which effects the gearing.

The number of teeth is probably stamped on it somewhere, but if not you will need to do some counting.

That's standard gearing.

Lower has 44, higher 54.
