..or rather turns the cam off.

Every time something notably good happens, I glance down at the cam and find the batteries have gone. Shame as this was a very patient hanging back despite numerous chances to "just nip through quick" through 3 junctions, waiting until the road turned to 2 lanes each way in order to pass wide. From a rather dilapidated flatbed truck which, appearance wise, is easy to prejudge and keep an eye on, expecting it to be driven badly.

A bit disappointed about the cam shutting down as I was hoping to get the reg. no and fire off a quick note to the company...unfortunately I didn't even get the company name by eye because I was too busy keeping one eye on the polar opposite, an (I assume) car sales rep revving hell out of a brand new shiny kia demonstrator who seemed to be looking to try to undertake the truck as it overtook me!!

That's a shame, it would have been nice to fire off a letter of appreciation to the company concerned! Everyone likes praise, particularly when it's unexpected, and it does much to promote a positive image of cyclists.

Couldn't make it up...Just checked this morning's footage just in case and it actually recorded right up to the point where he overtook and cut off about 3 seconds before!!

I had about fifteen lovely overtakes from lorries this morning. They all had L plates on and someone in high-viz with a clipboard sitting in the passenger seat, which may have made a difference, but I appreciated it anyway. One was stuck behind me for ages and I heard a honk come from behind him, but he didn't get any closer or act impatient at all.
