Hi everyone,

The name's Will, I'm 25 from Lincolnshire. What else to share? Well...

My first memory is when my second stabiliser wheel came off my first bike. I was 3 years old and had taken the bike to the green at the bottom of my street, where a "big kid" promptly sat on it and broke the stabiliser!

Of course, my logical thinking wasn't what it now is, so I decided it was incredibly important to get the stabiliser re-attached, thus promptly rode the bike back up to my house for my dad to put it back on... only to be informed by him that it wasn't really necessary if I could ride the bike without it. D'oh!

I'm currently riding around on an old, battered mountain bike but hoping to own a Tiger bikes' Urban Culture Fixie soon (see here: http://www.tigercycles.com/bikes/road/uc-fixie-orange-yellow.html).

Anyhow, I've joined because I've liked the discussions that happen here. I've been watching a few of the threads for a few days and decided it was time to join in.

Pleasure to meet you all.

Welcome!!

That is certainly an.... err..... interestingly coloured bike! (I'm secretly impressed, but I'll never admit to it!).

Thanks for the welcomes everyone, much appreciated.

Welcome!!

I always ride brightly and so far it's served me well - I've never been hit. Indeed, the one accident I have had on a bike that I'm old enough to remember was downhill and off-road - I knew there were some big JCB tracks at the bottom of the hill but couldn't remember where. Needless to say, I hit the tracks at full whack (about 40mph), and flew through a patch of nettles sans the bike. Luckily, the only damage was a 3 inch gash to my hand caused by the nettles. Good times!
