No not one of you,the tv prog.i have just watched again, the one off special.Well it was brilliant.the scene when Gary walks in to the phone shop is brilliant.Pity there is a rumour that the BBC will not sanction another series.we need some good old real humour.Well i will just have to watch my boxed set, over and over again.Like MASH and Dad's Army,Hancock's Half Hour, the Likely Lads.'Allo 'Allo. Can moderrn sit coms beat these,is there any modern sit coms.
Goodnight sweethearts i am going out.

I watched it from the start. Must be 20 years ago now. The 40's women is best.

Is this an attempt at ironical thread of the year?

I love Goodnight Sweetheart. It's my favourite documentary.

I loved Goodnight Sweetheart. I haven't seen them all so looking out for them on DVD at a sensible price.
I really enjoyed the one off episode.

The 'special' episode of Goodnight Sweetheart was easily the best of the whole run of revived old shows the Beeb did and could easily have been brought back as a series.

So obviously the BBC didn't do that, but commissioned a series of the excruciating awful Porridge revival instead.

Just over a pound a DVD...I got LocalLass the set, and we've watched a few times through now. Excellent comedy

Gawd.... imagine a modern remake of Porridge! They'd both be stoned all day.
