Google -Annoying Black Navigation Bar

Has anyone else got a black Navigation Bar (web,Images Video etc) on Google?

It popped up on mine after I updated Firefox and apparently the only way to get rid of it is by removing all cookies.

Anyone know what it is all about?

mine too, arrived today post FF5 upgrade. Was wondering if it was because I was logged into googlemail and had the theme or whatever it is on.

Hasn't bothered me enough to fix it yet though....

And here, but only on Calender, not Gmail or search results. Can't say it bothers me.

Me too ... I'll try it for a day or two to see if it grows on me ... but you say you can remove it ... I'm tempted.

Ah - it's not just me then. Thought I'd done something. I usually have. It comes up on Opera too. Doesn't really bother me - I just ignore it.

Do they actually test these things before they release it?

Somebody should tell them the human is a creature of habit and doesn't like change, especially without benefits.

What's annoying is the X in the search box to clear the search terms. But that is nothing in comparison with the really annoying disappearance of the search box at the bottom of the page.
