I have several gps. Karoo, Garmin and Wahoo. All the mounts are different so sometimes I am looking at a gps screen at 90 degrees because I am not changing mounts all the time.

But I have found a solution on Temu. It takes all 3 gps securely and has a bevel head that turns, so you do not have to remove the mount. It fits on the stem or handlebar.

I paid about £2.50.

I appreciate some people do not like Temu, but I do.

Hmm - I must say that a phone mount might be a good idea

If I had had Google Maps running when I got lost the other dya and ended to turning round and going back the way I came - only to discover I was a few hundred yards from the end of a loop I didn;t even know I was on
Then it might have been less embarrassing!

but every mount I have tried just tipped forward when I put the phone on it - or did after the first few bumps

Me too. Tried ‘a few’ and all have failed to securely hold a large / modern (iPhone 16 ProMax) phone for various reasons. But all failing very swiftly on the the first respective outings.

I have just purchased a new smart watch (Mainly because I had some vouchers that needed to be burned)….and one of the features of that watch was ‘audible GPS route instructions’ can be given; when coupled with Strava / Garmin etc

Going to be interesting to see how that fares 👍
