what an excellent tv day for an old git like me to slob out to.

The Desert Fox with the marvelous James Mason followed by Bear island followed by bridge at Remargen. Couldn't have chosen better myself. Thank you Lord. thank you

Spent the afternoon alone at the kitchen table watching the box and surfin the net..... Perfect.... Looking for a new Shuttle SFF PC . There are so many out there now and I'm years behind with the technology. I still run a SN41G2 from 2005

Thinking about the diminuitive K45 if they do an AMD Athlon 64 version. mmmm

Maybe order up some new biblongs and a pump then order a book on Amazon . Oh happy days.

What are you lot up to ?

Just watch 2 hours of Star Trek Voyager on Sky1 - makes me laugh nowadays, just how kitch and crap it was! Nostalgic though, when I was a kid I couldn't get enough of it.

Shame that the actress who played Captain Janeway is probably a baggy old sock by now.

Lisa honey have a wonderful evening

I have been out on my bike today, was a lovely day for it, I have also powerwashed the fountain in the garden, so that is looking good.

Picked up my new bike today  but am not allowed to ride it till tomorrow as it is a birthday present.

Tonight is takeaway night, with a bottle of something sparkling, but I stopped the wine as I would rather be out on the bike early in the mornings, so it will be a nice chilled bottle of ginger beer or something like that

Got the housework done today and the washing, so pretty up to date with things really.

Looking forward to a night chilling out in front of the tv or maybe playing the piano ;)

The younger model might not be as robust and reliable as the older campanion. The older model will still be able to evoke those memories of passion and excitement, but in a different, more long-lasting way. For now the marvelous stalwart may take a rest in the garage, knowing he will be needed again in the near future, comfort being far more important than speed.:biggrin::biggrin:;)

Well said Speicher;)

My lovely MTB is not left for dead, he is coming out as equal as the new sleeker model

I love off road too, so intend to do 50/50 roads ( yes roads if I can ) and forrests ;)

My neighbour said, I would be as well to sell my MTB ;) Absolutely no way, I have such fond memories of him, I would be heartbroken if he were to go

If you look after him, and maintain him properly, I am sure he will give excellent service for a very long time. These young models, they may have good looks, but not always the stamina and experience.
