I have in recent years become quite adept at growing strange plants, I think it is all part of turning into an old fart, anyway I have been cultivating a couple of Aloe Aristata for maybe 4 years now and both of them grew stems this year and flowered. One of which has produced a seed pod which is pretty amazing and has the house in a flutter, or at least me anyway, so I will attempt to grow baby Aloe plants now, once the pod cracks I will sow the seeds then it can take about 6 months for them to germinate, in the meantime the parents are getting repotted so no flowers next year. Anyone else turning into a boring old git?

Not boring at all Trikey. Quite interesting really. Keep us posted on how the babies are doing.

I'm off to collect Hollyhock and Delphinium seeds now..........
