Greenfly: A Superfluity

There's bloody millions of 'em about at the moment - can't stand outside without getting covered in the blighters.
Might have to get some of that DDT deodorant.

I remember in the 80s (i think) there was a similar plague of greenfly. About the same time, there were millions more Ladybirds than normal.

This greenfly 'plague' is'nt as bad as the one i remember....we had yellow forklifts, and for some reason they were attracted to the colour. Forklifts were absolutely plastered with em. Any patch of oil was a catch point for them...they'd be about 10mm deep in the oil.
