I presume football was why the F1 qualifying was on BBC2 instead of BBC1. Not that that bothered me.

I mean, do they have tennis on three channels simultaneous during Wimbledon? Or cricket? Or golf? Or snooker? NO!!!! Why the hell do they have to have three main channels at once devoted to football?

the others are predominantly signed exclusively to the one channel, football isn't and gets shared out.
