after a prolonged absence I got back on a bike about a year ago. Most of my cycling is commuting to work though I like to try to do a little recreational cycling as well time permiting. I have soon to move which will increase my commute from 5 miles each way to 17 miles which I hope to build up to do everyday but realistically at least to start with it will be multimodal.
I have three bikes
A three speed Brompton which has been excellent if a little lacking in gears for the trip to work till now and which I will use on those days I need to take the train both ways.
An electric recumbent trike which has been a little disappointing but I haven't given up on getting working in a satisfactory manner yet. Then hopefuly I can use this as my winter ride.
And my new pride and joy is a Dahon Cadenza 8 which I am hoping will give the flexibility to ride there and bike with ease and comfort but still chuck it on the train if need be. I'm in the process of kitting it out for all weather commuting.
