Bugger....at least its 6 months away.
I saw a report the day before i booked, but the news didnt make a real big deal at that time...it was the first day of the unrest, nothing to go on really.
Why is it i book holidays and something goes wrong
Crete...second time round....on the morning we were coming home, vacated the hotel, went to a bar to get some breakfast...to be confronted by a 50 inch screen displaying the flaming wreckage of a Cyprus Airways plane that'd just crashed in Greece (IIRC) My SIL nearly pooped herself

Crete, first time round...9/11 happened the week before i was due to go.... Bugger.


Due to fly back from Cyprus...on the morning i was due to fly...arrived at the airport, Icelandic volcano had just gone up !!!!
