Guided Bus Way Crash

Did anyone see the crash on the GBW yesterday at Longstanton? A car or bus RLJed at the junction and the obvious coming together took place. The car a Vaushall Corsa I think was rather mashed. The bus had pushed it a little way along the bus way. I went through about 7:50am and an ambulance was just departing with the injured. IME both buses and cars drive through the junctions at perilous speeds so not placing bets on whose fault it was unless it was a medical issue with one of the drivers.

Be careful as there is still lots of glass all over the adjacent pavements as useless Cambridgeshire County Council haven't cleared it up yet. Well there was at 7:15pm last night.

I expect it was a cyclists fault.

Having seen the Manchester one brought to a standstill by a single illegally parked vehicle, or a simple accident

Having seen the Gosport one stopped because traffic has queued across the busway

These systems are very vulnerable to muppet drivers
