ah - that explains all the works (if there was a sign, we missed it).
It was never the worst gyratory in the world, but it made a complete horlicks of the streets, which were inhuman.

Great if you are going north. A little bit of a pain if you are going south to streatham as you still have traffic crossing your path if you are not controlling the lane very well. It was exactly the same before for a cyclist, it's a shame that they didn't put any specific cycling facilities in.
