Agreed. Only done it once, no helmet, v sore.
I wish I had the option to cycle, for the second day this week I had to walk past my bike 
, which is already to go, lights charged panniers packed etc. Made worse by being on annual leave on Wednesday/Thursday for some baby sitting duties I somehow agreed to 
. It means I will only have six more commute days before the Christmas holiday, although I think the brownie points from babysitting may allow me to have my first non-commute rides between Christmas and New Year

Well it had to happen I suppose. Left work last night into a hailstorm that turned to heavy rain then freezing wind. Lovely.
The last two nights I've left work without putting on my waterproofs and literally just been locking the gate as it started to rain on Monday and then snow on Tuesday. Both nights I decided to carry on regardless and landed up soaked. The wind was particularly scary last night as well. I thought there was a strong chance of being blown off.
