Half term traffic

I know it's darker and all, but this half term traffic is a dream!!

Had a great ride home (in the dark) last night and in again this morning (in the sun!!). I enjoyed it so much that I was "scheduled" to take the loud bike home tonight, but I'm taking Chitty instead.

I love this cycling lark, I'm starting to not notice the conditions at all and get to the office sometimes without really recalling how hard a hill was or how cold it felt.

Got onto the embankment today and thought to myself" wow the traffic is light", then realised I'd ridden about 15 miles in light traffic already.

yep, caught one on my new head cam (am trying to upload it now)

I guess everyone has their gaurd set to "Defcon 1" in the half term hols as the whole city seems to be a little less agro than usual, so this probably translates into a drop in concentration from pedestrians.

Never fear, normal service will soon be resumed

it's aways the same during school holidays... aaaaahhh the bliss of no or little traffic.
It also has the effect of the motons are that on the road seem to be far more laid back & courteous to cyclists presumably they are getting where they need to be much quicker and easier..
Good for everyone all round..

Traffic up here returned to normal levels yesterday after the half term last week & Monday. You notice the change more when they all go back in the middle of the week.

I plan to run in on the loud bike tomorrow (I was going to take Chitty home again tonight but have to get home a bit sharpish) I will ride her home on Thursday so in again on Friday Am.

Be fun to see you in action on the Lambo..not sure how I'll keep up tho!!

LOL, I'm on the fixed wheel tomorrow and going as slow as I can make myself. Big day, still got the remnants of lurgy.
