Handle bar tape

I'm going to buy some new thicker tape for my bars where can I get some decent stuff from and also is it easy to fit just wrap round the bars ?

Plenty of different types to choose from and at least a dozen excellent vids on YouTube to help you. It's a must to change the tape on a tdf

I like my Fizik performance 3mm, comes in better colours (just don't get the soft touch white)

I've used specialized roubaix tape (£20) SRAM super cork (£14) and lizard skins (£24) and although lizards are best IMO the roubaix provided great comfort and the SRAM is probably the best value for general use.
