My missus bought me tickets for the UCI World Cup in Manchester, a total and brilliant surprise !
45 today, so no candles on the cake (Health & Safety, I think we'd need two fire engines for support)

Just wanted to say that this has been my bestest birthday in ages ! 
My partner also bought me a Led Zep cycling top (I'm an old rocker
) from Primal Wear which was another shock as she's combining two of my favourite things
I've also got things off friends who hadn't bothered in years and at 45 (and being a bloke) thats quite a thing.
My parents came over, so we went out for lunch with my two daughters, my partner and my mum and dad, got to say it was lovely
Now my daughters and their friend have taken over the living room, I'm reduced to the spare bedroom (well, computer room
) to watch the portable tv (AC/DC on Sky) with a nice pint of Hobgoblin and I'm a very happy bunny (I'm usually such a miserable git, ooh me broken bones, oh life's not fair
)
It really has been a lovely day.
