Well my Mum is in Scotland at some wool show so rather than send her the flowers I normally do I sent her the money to spend at the show . She also has a card waiting for her when she gets back from the long weekend away with her friends and I might send her some flowers when she gets back anyway just because shes my Mum 
My daughter came round this morning with Mothers Day stuff for Mrs Pete, slightly (very) disgruntled that she was the one that got up at 05:30 to sort out 6 month old James whilst dad slumbered on, and 7 yr old forgot to bring her card down and say Happy Mothers Day when she woke up.
