Taking the biscuit
Way to go Taylor, you have determination where some would have given up after a ride like that.

It is a learning curve, water, thermals, looking at the map etc. but as has been pointed out, after two weeks(good days and bad days)of commuting you will start to want to ride further and try different routes!

Remember to keep your legs spinning and don't push your legs too hard, don't be in a rush to get into the highest gear, your knees and muscles will appreciate it!

Hats of to ya and keep it up, you have a whole forum of like minded '10 year olds' to back you up thru the highs and lows!

Thanks I'm chuffed with all your replies, I'll be back out tomorrow for another go. I've fallen in Love with my bike again, can't wait.
Cannondale Boy you might be right about that Hybrid I'l give it a year first. The roads i'm using are a bit lumpy lots of stones and rocks. I'm also starting the commute Sat & Sunday and if my front lights come all next week. As i'm a Train Driver (shift work) Should be fun. Thanks Again to all where ever you are. Taylor.

Well done Taylor, it will get easier, honest! If you are running MTB tyres then my one piece of advice would be to swap your tyres for some without nobbles, this will make things quite a bit easier.
