The Kinesis frames are a well regarded winter frame, for the reasons you state ( a racing frame that takes guards), I used a Kinesis Pro6 CX frame as my winter bike last year, I was so impressed with the ride of the frame that I bought a Ti Granfondo frame of theirs, I bought both frames from Winstanleys, they were the cheapest at the time.

I have been riding a TK for about 5 yrs as my commute/winter bike. It is great for what I bought it for - nothing special, but a good frame. My old Ribble used to get twitchy if I took roundabouts hard - flipping from left to right to left again. The Kinesis TK is much better. I have never put panniers on mine, but I know others have done. It takes normal mudguards and so far I am very content with it.

I have got a Kinesis Pro6 frame as my wet weather / winter / commuter steed. Other than not being as light as my plastic bike, no faults with it and I have used it for a couple of century rides this year too, which it has handled admirably.

Had RaceliteT2 for a few years now. I use it every day for work and for light touring with a saddlebag and barbag. It's comfortable and dependable if not very exciting.

Yep have a Kinesis T2 in black that I've just built up but can't use due to injury.

The paint is very good on them and in general appear very well made.
Fit's guards and aparrently up to 28c tyres. I have 25c on it.
The frame geomety is really good. A size 54 with 12cm stem and 15mm spacers got me a very good fit. @179cm tall with 79cm inseam.
Frame is very stiff, yet comfortable...seat stays have curvy vibration dampening design.
In short it's a very good frame, that has been designed properly, so that it fit's guards on. It's not just a 'winter' frame.
All frames should be like this, it's not rocket science.

Oh dear. Wish I hadn't stumbled onto this thread. Just seen the next n+1 - that Ti Grand Fondo is beautiful. Now, how to get the cash together and smuggle it into the garage without Mrs. jongooligan realising there's one more bike in there?
