Have you seen these bikes before ? Adams Cycles

Hi! I'm new here and would love to know if anyone knows any info about or has ever heard of Adams Cycles.

I have searched all over the net and can't find anything, being from the midlands it's almost shameful that I can't find anything but I'm out of ideas.

Below is a link to pics of my bike, I'm planing a respray and would love to locate the old decals.

When I was in the motorcycle/cycle trade, in Birmingham, in the early 1980's, we used a wholesaler called Robert Adams. He ran the wholesale cycle business as an extension of his large transport/logistics company. He dealt in the lower end of the market ie. cheap wheels, tyres and other consumables, accessories and also complete cheap bikes. The transport business is still going in Market Drayton, but I don't know if they still do the cycle side of things. The stickers on the bike in the pictures look very much like some of the after market ones we used to have from them. It could be one of his cheap imported and re-badged bikes, in which case it's not worth a lot - we used to sell them new for less than £50 in 1982. They cost us half that to buy in. It's certainly from that era and it's in the right area (the Midlands). Hope this helps.

Update: Just done a check on the company - Robert Adams Cycles Ltd.
Incorporated in 1981.
Listed registered office was 55 - 59 Newhall St, Birmingham.
Company now listed as dissolved.

@EXiTM0NKEY thats a new name on me but looks nice enough , why not just clean up and reuse as is ??

They were basically BSOs. Cheap, unbranded, running gear and cheap foreign, mass produced steel frames.
Saying that, they served a purpose and this one seems to have survived OK.
I wouldn't bother spending much on it though.
