I know - it was a lame attempt at a Man from UNCLE reference.
I was a member of UNCLE in the 60s - had the code book and secret signalling kit an' all. You had to apply through one of the kids comics - I think it might have been the Eagle.

I thought that after I posted it!
I loved the Man From Uncle as a child. I actually took it seriously and didn't really pick up on the humour at the time. It was the same with Batman. It shows how different a child's mind is - both series seem so cheesy now. I can't believe that I believed that Solo/Kuryakin/Batman/Robin were real people, that somebody was trying to kill them, and that this time they might not manage to escape!

What happened to all those great cap guns you used to be able to buy? I remember I had a Luger, a Peacemaker, a miniature Derringer, a Winchester rifle and many more. Today's PC society I guess.
