What do you recommend to wear under your cycling helmet on cold/wet days? My ears were getting a little cold this morning at about 7.30, especially on the downhill sections of my run.

Either a headband like this Links to Wiggle

Or a skullcap

Or a buff

Just using Wiggle to show examples- you can probably get these at your local bike shop.

When it really gets cold, I wear a fleece head band, but it is no where near cold enough yet...

When skiing in extremely cold conditions, I used to wear a silk balaclava under a fleece hat, to great effect.

When cycling in the cold, I use a headband, silk balaclava, and a buff under a helmet.

Keeps my ears, and head, warm as toast!

I find a buff more than enough at the moment. Easier to adjust of things warm up too
