I'm regularly being subjected to thuggish, terrifying and pre-meditated/intentional close and fast overtakes by a psychotic van driver on my commute. Police riffing ludicrously about 'careless' driving when psycho is taking great care to endanger and threaten me with his machine, and unable to find driver though van quite distinctive, movements predictable and most of the reg provided.
Now I don't want to go down the trafficdroid cyclecammer route but in the short term, loan of a camera - your redundant old one now you've upgraded to a GoPro deluxe, say - to help me nail this nutter would be v helpful.

I've had decent results from a simple Vivitar DVR-480. Very low budget($20 USD), there are better versions out there but it records enough resolution to score most tags and extremely effective audio recording which can be good for harassing drivers. Invest in good rechargeable batteries, though to favor longer run times. When I was commuting 10 miles each way everyday for almost two years that is what I used. The local authorities would get fairly regular reports from me too, which did at least for a while subdue some of the offenders. I am no activist, but the logging and tracking of the video results did reveal some habitual/intentional driver offenders. Reported once or twice, without charges filed, they did not reappear on said chart. It was a subtle proof that at least someone was caring. Good luck
