Been road biking mainly around the Wigan / St Helens areas.
Got into cycling through a company cycle to work scheme and a helped by an experienced cyclist at work who persevered with me last summer at a pace that a snail would compete with.
Managing to get out twice a weekish and have got up to 40 miles in my 40+ year old legs :-)
Just beginning to get up a few decent hills and hope to keep up the riding through Autumn & Winter to so I am in decent nick for next spring / summer.
Have had a mooch around the site and it seems really useful with some good forum sections and good advice.

Hi Kreskin. I sometimes cycle from Southport to Wigan. Keep going and you'll soon be bombing up the hills!
