Hello! Cycling from south of france to Barcelona plea for advice!

Hello!

I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone could help with advice on how to plan a cycle trip in europe?

A friend and I would like to get from the south of france to Barcelona with a view to then get a ferry to Ibiza.

I have done organised cycling holidays before and am a daily cycle commuter, but not very experienced in going it alone...

Is this a possible route for someone of moderate fitness and any idea of how long it would take ?

Would really appreciate some guidance on how to plan this sort of thing if anyone has any tips and has done a similar route?

If you take it easy, say 40 to 50 miles per day you'll manage no problem. You don't say where in southern France you'd be starting and whether you intend to camp or use hotels so can't offer any more advice on routes, overall time etc.

Get the train to start somewhere that will provide a nicer route! That stretch of coast around the bend of France/Spain aint all that IMHO.

And windy, well it has been the few times I have been there.
