Hello to you all from North Cumberland,[Carlisle really,but i usually head away from there as fast as my little legs will allow]that hidden land of flat,quiet roads,stunning scenery and Solway sunsets.Something always spoils the idyll though,probably me,hurtling along[Garmin say No] on a Giant Defy Comp a coloured blur thanks to the lads at Prendas startling rustics,livestock and wildlife alike.Dream over.Really though,having ridden for along time,off and on admittedly,I seem to be enbracing MAMILdom more and more!Out today on a run round Burgh by Sands on the Solway i bumped into a girl on her first real if short ride,puffing a bit and a bit lost,but very happy.I can identify with that,it still happens!
