Hello from Preston, East Yorks.

Hi all, new forum member here.
I've been road riding for about eighteen months now and I'm still loving it. The majority of my riding is in the flatlands of Holderness between East Hull and the coast, I've struggled time wise this summer but have also managed to make it through Beverley and into the Wolds on longer rides and managed to get around the 100km "Big G" for the second year running.
I'm on my second bike now, a Giant TCR Advanced, a Giro'd Italia limited edition in Rabobank colours. I see there are a few Hull members on this site, look out for me and give me a wave. I've never been with a club but would be interested in having a ride with anyone local.

Hello & welcome from another Holderness-er though a bit more 'mid-north Holderness'

I tend to trundle up to Brandsburton across to Beeford & back through Hornsea or down to Burton Constable - Coniston - Skirlaugh..

Occasionaly may see me in my CC jersey around the lanes



Try this thread for a welcome too - they have regular rides, just got to get to Beverley first, always adds a few extra miles...

Thanks for the welcome chaps and the link, work sometimes interferes with weekends but I do fancy that ride from Beverley Minster, I just dont fancy all the formalities of joining a club. I cover all those same areas too Craigwend and work at Brandsburton so I'll start looking out for those CC jerseys.

Hey welcome to the forum, I'm from Beverley there's alot of clubs and meets in the area to get involved with.

I'm sure i saw your bike at the big g, as i was wearing my trusty Rabobank jersey on my giant defy


I've just started riding with Hull Thursday club, Meet at 9.30 at Skidby mill, really friendly lot and a good group to cycle with

Hi Andy, I've seen your previous post about the rides from Beverley Minster. Is that still ongoing?

ish! tbh I've joined Hull Thursday road Club, we ride out from Skidby Mill every Sunday at 9:30 the pace isn't so bad

good group to cycle with, very encouraging too.

Should be organizing a ride out from Beverley minster at some stage mind
