Hello thought i join this forum as i have a few things to ask and will need a lot of help and tips.

I want to get into bike rides again as i have grown up riding bikes, but not had a bike to ride for a while now and want to get back into it.

Use to be a road user. But no thanks to many idiots on the road these days and dont feel safe, also due to my deafness probably doesn't help either. So i will be doing some off road bikings which im sort of new to but im sure i will enjoy it a lot. As i do like country, quietness and wildlife.

I have owned a lot of bikes and twice in my life time two bikes have been nicked, lucky i got one back and i didn't with the other. But im glad there is something you can add into your bike and it tracks i think dont know much about it but it intresting to know. (Sort of like a chip you use for your dogs and cats.)

I think i have said enough here. So hello everyone!

Hi Rexy.

I know what you mean about the traffic. I don't like the busy roads around here, but there are plenty of quiet ones once you climb out of the valleys. Lots of very good off road cycling in this area too.

Where in West Yorkshire are you? (It's a big area!)

Thanks, yeah know the feeling. Im not to far from leeds so I'm like in between leeds and wakefield. But i do know there is a cycle path not far from me, so i cant wait to try it out.

Welcome fella. Getting back into cycling is the best thing I have done in the last five years, enjoy.:welcome:

Hi Rex.
I used to live in Stanley, & rode to work in Leeds every day from 1986 - 1997.
Since them, I run/ride to Wakefield instead

There's the Trans-Pennine Trail for you to use, perhaps???
