Hello to you all, I am Paul, just getting back into cycling after a few years. I start a new job soon which is within cycling distance and really looking forward to getting fit and healthy again. I have had road bikes and mountain bikes in the past but have just recently purchased a Scott Hybrid Bike which gives me the more comfortable riding position of the mountain bike but much thinner wheels which will be perfect for the B roads I will be using to get to work and back.

Had a quick scan through the forum and really like what I have seen, gives me a bit of a buzz to read other posts and feel the enthusiasm of other cyclists.

Hi Russ, the commute is about 8 miles, mainly flat with a few small hills so should be able to do it most days

Have a similar ride but with one killer hill! One day I'm gonna get up that sucker...but probably not tomorrow! Would be interested to
find out how you get on with the Scott Hybrid...had a look at a couple before I opted for a Specialized Hybrid (Gets delivered Friday I hope).
