Agree with this sentiment however I find it is harder to motivate yourself when it is dark and bleak outdoors. But when you're out it is worth it, last year I got caught in a thunderstorm, lashing it down, but I continued riding I was laughing out loud, an enjoyable experience

I had a similar revelation last year - had to struggle home on a dark n stormy night - it was fab! It helped that I had no alternative so just had to brave it. Then I thought to myself - I enjoy skiing even when it's actually snowing - so perhaps I shouldn't be so wet when it comes to cycling!
