Dr Magnatom is considered one of the house experts. Check out his blog.... There are plenty of others with cams, myself included, so you should be able to get a feel for the market. The Oregon ATC series are serviceable and can be got for £50 or less. At the other end, you can film taxi drivers calling you a c*** in full HD for several hundred.
Also, have a look in 'Discounts' as there's a helmet cam discount in there.

There have been a few threads on this over the last few months or so, so a search should bring these up. Very much depends on how much you wish to spend and how bothered about battery life/routing cables etc. you are.
