It is just that in my experience, the police have always said that video evidence without seeing the face is very flimsy. So in this instance I couldn't see how much help it was at all; just playing devil's advocate!

I've had plenty of prosecutions with video footage without being able to see the drivers face.

If nowt else. Plod could probably get the reg No and address ? They pop round and find nicked goods. The vid goes to court as supporting evidence and to show method.....

It matters not wether they were guilty or innocent. Riding a scooter is sufficient reason enough to send them down. They should ride a bicycle or a motorcycle.

Oh who knows. I'm realistic about things, I don't expect everything to go forward for prosecutions. I would say there have been less than 5 which I thought should go but haven't.
