help me decide....

Hi Guys,

My c2w voucher has been sent out so i am going to be buying a cx bike in the next week or two. Originally i was going for a pinnacle arkose 3 but a Genesis Vapour Disc 2012 Cyclocross Bike has been discounted along with a Jamis Nova Race 2013 Cyclocross Bike .

The arkose 3 is £50 cheaper to fits into the £1000 c2w voucher and also comes with £100 worth of free accesories, whereas the genesus vapour is £1050, so i have had to £50 to it and there is accessories included.

The jamis is only £850 so gives me some extra money to spend on accessories.

All of them come with bb7 disk brakes and tiagra gears, but i am at a loss how to further narrow down my choices.

Any thoughts guys?

Go test ride them and see which you like most on the roads. Evans are very good for this

The Pinnacle has 105 gearing but it is a boring looking bike. The Genesis is much prettier

thanks, i am going to give the local evans a call and organise a ride about just need a day or two to get it all sorted out. Spec wise, do you think they are all similiar enough that the main differentiator is going to be how they ride/fit me?

Check they can get the sizes in for you. You'll need a credit card for them to swipe (and charge a penny to)

voucher arrived over the weekend and just spoke to the local evans and going out on saturday to try the arkose 3 and jamis nova race. They didnt have any of the Genesis vapour in my size.

so if all goes well, i will be taking a new bike home on sat
