Help with Sigma bc1106 dts bike computer

Hi Help please


Just bought this piece of kit and all fixed on bike etc. Having read the instructions it is not doing what it is supposed to do. Have set up clock and mph but it does not read anything else. does anyone have one who can give me idiots instructions to make it work please!!

Yes they are and clock working. but not registering movement.

Strange. If they are aligned properly, a small red light will go on (on the sensor unit) when the magnet passes the sensor (an indication that it is aligned properly and that it is close enough to the sensor to pick up a reading). Is this happening????
Is the magnet close enough to the actual sensor? Aligning it is one thing, but it also has to pass the sesor pretty close to actually get a reading from it.

Usually about 5mm so really close.
