It is a Gavin Greenhow event starting from Droitwich, they are usually low key events using commercial controls and garages, etc, but friendly and using interesting routes. The route passes through quite challenging topography. I suspect the 3,000m of ascent includes lanes with short and sharp ascents/descents.
The AUK system says:
207km cycling event starting from Droitwich. Controls at Cleobury, Bromyard and Ledbury, plus 5 information controls.
Tour of some of the hilly lands west of Droitwich, including a circumnavigation around the Clee Hills, with cafe stops at Cleobury and Bromyard. The previous 175 km event has been extended to include some
Herefordshire Hills. Final section takes you from Ledbury over the Malvern Hills via Colwall and back to civilisation. Very scenic and quite hilly route.
