Many years ago in west London I spotted a couple of large beardy blokes in a Triumph Dolomite Sprint with the registration ELO 2.

It was almost certainly a couple of members of the band, although I didn't know what they looked like well enough to positively identify them.

I wonder if that plate is 100% legal ? I really hope it is. Must be worth a fortune.
Not to hijack the thread......and I have posted this before but....
When I was a boy (and I am 73 now) my wealthy uncle had 2 cars. One was DS1 and the other was MS1.
A few months ago, during a ride, a big car overtook me with the DS1 plate.
I really tried to catch him as I would have liked to give him some of its history.
