Hey From Canterbury

Hi, Im Carlos from Canterbury.

Bought a bike to go on long cycles with my friends about the place.

I did my first real cycle yesterday and will have to admit my legs defiantly need more power! Hopefully that will come with time, Canterbury is very hilly so i hope it comes soon!

The first ride was recorded on an action cam so will be editing the video today of it.

i'm only 15ish miles away in bethersden so could go for a ride some point

Hey Ed, we did about 15 miles. Wasn't easy, i did need to walk up some hills but that could of been due to break issues slowing me down. Do you use Endomondo or any other cycling loggers? I hope to improve soon and be cycling Ashford way so it is defiantly possible to go for one!

The bike is a Bronx Bolt, it isnt really the best bike and not really built for roads or hills but it was all i could afford at the time. What do you use?

yes i use a garmin and use garmin connect, my cycling log, strava and sometimes track my ride!(yes i am a technology junkie!)
currently riding a cheap hybrid

Hi there Carlos, I'm also new to the site and also live in Canterbury for the most part. There are some nice back roads between Canterbury and Ashford, particularly around Wye which I hope to explore a bit more after I get back
