AndyRM Baldersby near ripon that one. I go through that one when going to ripon it's 19mile from my house to ripon it is a good bike ride.
There is some good ride's a round northallerton when you find them + know where to go.

Hi Andrew, i'm Andrew too I'm in a very similar situation to you, how are you finding the giant defy 5?
im picking my 2015 giant defy 5 up this week some time, looking at maybe joining a local club but I'm a little cautious
at being made to look silly.

With my defy 5 i just had to get the dodgey one !! But it is all worked out now. So a good reliable runner now.
I have never joined a local club i am a lone rider I like to get out soon as it gets light.
Boroughbridge i went through there about 5 weeks ago and i was on the defy 5
What colour is your defy 5 mine's a silver one.

Now you come to mention it I think I have seen the bike, a SS or fixed in NTR does tend to stand out somewhat amongst the usual situpandbegs and the BSOs.

Likewise you may have seen me, long dark hair (male) with either a BRIGHT green On-one Inbred 29er or a black Dave Yates, both with colour splash tape (red on the DY, black/white on the Inbred)
