I am in Oakville. Ah.. I am a Vancouverite (Kitts Beach) transplanted to Ontario. I have never heard St. Catherines referred to as St. Kitts. Learn something new every day. Thanks Shadow.

Maybe because they are 'from away', like you! Or maybe it was only used by lake people. Or maybe its just an old-fashioned term used by by old farts like me!

Just asked my Son in Law who is from Stoney Creek and he is aware of the St. Kitts moniker. I guess I need to stop and smell the roses a little more.

Thanks and welcome to you cazwood! Toronto has great cycling no matter what style you like. I am fortunate in that I am 5 minutes to great country roads on the roadie and about the same to drop into some very technical single track MTB trails as well. Yeah, the city is fun too. It isn't London or Paris but it has excellent entertainment venues and lots going on.
