Hi,
I am new to the forum and only got wind of this site after I got knocked off my bike by a car on Monday (I posted the detail on the commuting forum - I got off lucky!).
I live in South Manchester and have cycled to work on and off for many years when I have had the opportunity to work close to home. I started up again a few weeks ago after starting a new job locally (after working in London for a couple of years).
I ride an MTB although no so much off-road. It is a mid to late 90s Giant MCM Team carbon framed bike I have had for many years although I am up for a road bike next.
Me and the family are always on the look out for safe places to go cycling together so if there are any places locally based cyclists are aware of, I'd love to hear.
