Hi all ,

I'm lee , 28 years old from Shirley.
After many years I've decided to get back on the saddle and commute to and from work. My ride is roughly 8 miles there and back , and my gosh I'm struggling . Christmas must have taken its toll on me
Looking forward to speaking with you all.

Regards

Lee

Hello from furhter west.
Keep going - 8 miles is well in the sweet spot of cycle commuting - perfect balance between distance and time. It will get better in Spring.

Hi and :welcome: Lee.

It's always a bit more difficult cycling at this time of the year. Keep racking up the miles and it'll seem like a breeze when the nicer weather comes round.

Welcome to the forum Lee. I used to live in Wythall about twenty years ago. It is hard going at first, but you do get used to it in time, to the extent that you find yourself going further and further.

Welcome Lee! :welcome:
No worries, it's the wind that makes it hard, wait until spring comes, you'll be flying on the bike :bicycle:
