Hi from Coventry

Just thought I would say hi. I am a born again cyclist having not been on one for the last 20 odd years, not since I learnt to drive! My mate is a cyclist who has got into it again so I decided to join him to get fit.

So I bought a Carerra Valour a couple of weeks ago and since then have been out a half a dozen times doing an 11.5 mile circuit. I have so far cut 15 mins off my time, I did it last night in 47 mins. I would have done it quicker but suffered with cramp after 9 miles.

I'm enjoying it so far but not sure how I will feel when it gets really cold!

Hi.

There's a few people on here from Coventry. I was originally but I managed to escape!

I go back regularly to visit my family and when I'm there I cycle in the Corley/Fillongley/Old Arley area NW of the city.

Winter can be miserable (as can summer!) - if you are not that into cycling just try and tick over during the cold spell as it makes starting again in the spring a lot easier.
