Back into biking, gave up on expensive classic VW's, now onto expensive bikes, gulp :-).

Hi and thanks all for the welcome. I will be sure to check out the CTC in Stevenage. I have also found a really cool club called the Veteran Cycle club which is mainly for old/vintage bikes but they welcome all types of bikes and riders, so I think that will be an option too.

Should be getting both my bikes next week. I was supposed to be getting my Ellsworth Ride Commmute tomorrow but Ellsworth USA delayed on the delivery, so now I have to wait til next week. Its my 40th bday tomorrow so I am a bit gutted, oh well.

Hello and

I ride with the St Evenage CTC, mostly on the Wednesday evening rides. Meet on the Bowling Green, in the Old Town for 7:15. Bring lights, an extra layer, and some money for a pub stop.

If you see a somewhat overweight bloke on a plain black carbon road bike, that'll be me

Great thanks. Well I am very unfit and neither of my bikes are built for speed, so I wont be going anywhere in a rush (they are both cruisers) :-)
